Today is a very exciting day, because not only are we talking about why people should bundle their insurance, but we’re launching our brand new course to help you get there. But let’s first dive into today’s topic of why people should bundle their insurance.

Here’s the thing: most clients don’t actually know why they should have all of their insurance with one agency, and you need a hook to explain it to them. Our motto, and your hook when it comes to cross-selling, should be “Combine, Save, Simplify.” Here’s why:

 

Combine

Combining, or bundling insurance, is our goal here. And while combining insurance policies isn’t common everywhere, you can still find a way to make this part of your hook work. For example, it might not be common in your state or city to combine home and auto. But even if combining these policies is not the norm, you should still seek to combine policies with one agent. 

 

Save

Saving is obviously a big priority for customers, and you need to educate them about how they can save when they bundle their insurance. Those multi-policy discounts can definitely help hook your clients, but they probably don’t even know they exist. By embracing the heart of the teacher, you can educate them.

 

Simplify

“Simplify” might be the most important part of our cross-selling hook. Who doesn’t want life to be simpler? It’s why we put certain reminders and deliveries on automatically. When a client bundles their insurance and has one agent, it’s much simpler for them.

 

When we’re thinking about cross-selling, we need to decide how we’re going to hook our clients. By embracing “combine, save, and simplify,” we easily show them the power of cross-selling.
