This week we are excited to announce the newest member of our team, Shannon Oryniak! Shannon is a marketing major at The University of Rhode Island and will be joining us for the spring assisting with our marketing and social media content.
Originally from Hillsborough, New Jersey, Shannon came to the Ocean State to pursue a business degree while being close to the water. At the University of Rhode Island she is involved with many organizations such as the Student Organized Leadership Consultants, and her sorority Alpha Delta Pi.
She decided to pursue a career in marketing after taking an analytics course which opened her mind to the balance between creativity and data within the marketing industry. After a few internships she realized the importance of having knowledge in media in the digital world and added on a Computer Science minor.
When she is not working she is either at school, spending time with her friends, or staying active and spending time outdoors. Now in her senior year, we are happy to have her take on a content creation role here at APP and are excited for what the future brings having her on board.
