Are You Ready To Grow Your Agency?

It’s that time of year when everyone buckles up and starts planning. Everyone wants to grow but you have to be specific with details on really diving in to figure out how you want to grow and, in all reality, what you are willing to do. Growth takes a lot of commitment, discipline and tenacity. If you aren’t willing to get out of your comfort zone then don’t pick a growth plan that is audacious. Be realistic.

To create your growth plan you need to start by talking to your team. You should have individual meetings with everyone that review what’s working, what’s not, what training is needed and where our energy is being wasted. You will find so many opportunities to create your plan. In addition, people love to get one on one attention from their leader. It will go a long way.

Next, pick your goal.  How much do you want to grow? You can use our new growth calculator to help you get clear on what growth really looks like, down to every detail: retention, # of policies, goals per person and even what they need to sell per week.

Now that you know what you need to do, you have to create your plan. What marketing, training and sales processes are you going to commit to? What incentive plan will you use? And who is responsible for tracking and communicating with the team?

Finally you need a big launch.  Something grand to show people how important it is. It is critical you have established exactly when you will check in on the numbers and share them with your team.

If you really want to grow, it takes a lot of effort but it’s worth it!
