How to Set Insurance Goals: You Need To Deliver the Plan
All this week we’re talking about setting goals for your insurance agency, and today’s tip has to do with delivering your insurance agency’s plan to your team. What this means is that once you set a target, you actually have to deliver a roadmap.

It’s important to not only set goals for your agency, but to determine how you’re going to get there. You can’t just expect your team to figure it out on their own, and instead, you need to deliver your insurance agency’s plan.
By mapping out your goals for both yourself and your insurance agents, you make sure that nobody is left in the dark. We can look at onboarding as an example. If you want to improve your onboarding experience, how are you going to do it? You can set meetings ahead of time, leave certain tasks for certain people, and get everyone involved. Then you lay out step by step what your process looks like, and set follow up reminders in everyone’s calendar.
By delivering your insurance agency’s plan to your people, you’ll be well on your way to achieving your goals in the new year.
