How To Deal With An Upset Customer Options

Quick question. If you were to call into an agency or any office with an issue, which would you prefer? Would you rather deal with person who decides that they know best for you or would you rather work with someone who let you decide? This is exactly why you need to give an upset insurance customer options.

Always, always provide the client with options. Everyone likes to have a choice. 

 

No matter how bad one is, explain that option to the customer. You never know where people are coming from or what 100% works for them. 

 

There is no shame in having a few bad solutions. Not every path forward is going to perfect and shining, but your client has the right to hear about it and decide their own way forward. 

 

You would feel better if you had a choice, right? Well, they do, too.

 

And if they are confused or unsure, you can share what it is you’d do. Let them know about variables within the situation and go through different aspects they should consider.

 

You can guide the, but the choice still needs to be theirs. That is why you always need to give an upset insurance customer options, all of them.
